Picture a steamy August evening serenaded by crickets in bucolic south-central PA. Life just doesn't get any better unless, of course, you are sitting at one of the outdoor tables at Twin Kiss in Quincy PA. Wrap your hands around one of their chocolate malt shakes and you'll experience one of life's greatest pleasures this side of heaven.
The place is a throwback to the ubiquitous drive up ice cream venues from the 50's, many of which have gone the way of the drive-in movie theater. On a hot summer night, you'll find customers queued up 6 deep to sample one of their cold confectionary delights. TK also has a grill where they turn out respectable sandwiches but it's their ice cream I am fondest of. They've done a lot in the last few years to "improve" it but they better be careful, 'cause it's that old fashioned charm that you can't bottle up and sell, that attracts me to it.
Like the swallows to Capistrano, the sign in TK's window in February that it is opening soon, is a true harbinger of spring in this part of the country. -

My mom ordered the peanut butter fudge banana boat and the bananas were soft there was very little ice cream all the workers weren't working they kept talking letting the ice cream melt I ordered an Oreo milkshake and it was not very blended and the Oreos weren't even that good. We will definitely not be going back there ever again it was absolutely disgusting.

I've been going to Twin KISS my whole life. It's always been great. It's a seasonal place with ice cream and burgers. You can go wrong. Kids love to see th deer and ducks on the property as well

Last Friday I ordered half a sub and when I got back to work it was completely wrong so I called and they told me the next time I come in they'll make it right...decent and professional thing to do. So today I reordered that same sub and took one bite and it was terrible. The meat tasted bad so I threw it in the trash. For me two strikes and you're out...never again.

Bad experiences everytime I've been here. Employees stand at the counter with their mouths agape and show favoritism to certain customers by talking their ears off, all while making other customers wait to order. Not well run. Too small of an area for customers to stand in, the deer featured look scrawny and not well kept, passive managment and employees in general let people cut in line, and the brownies and cake in the icecream sundaes taste atleast 3 days old. If you're in the mood for anything this places serves, just drive by and head to the closest McDonalds. You'll probably get better food and service.
